This weekend on my LONG journey to Unviersal Studios, I watched the movie Fight Club. I could probably say that it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Not only was the film violent and full of action, but it also was very humorous and romantic.
The movie is about a man in his early 30's who has serious mental issues. However he refuses to seek help for them. He lives his life with his "so called" companion, best friend Tyler Durden. Him and Tyler start their very own Fight Club in which the first rule is to "never speak of it". The Club becomes a huge gang around the whole Nation and as the story progresses things get out of hand and he finds out who he really is, his true identity.
This film definitely kept me on the edge of my "car seat"! I truley, truely enjoyed it and i think you all will too, especially if your'e into the psych brain kinda thing. Its not a new release and its been out for quite a while. Great movie choice!
P.S. I WILL be posting about new and old movies so stay tuned in!

I am glad that you got the opportunity to check out this classic. Although it is not that old, it has become a must see on many film snobs' lists (it is most certainly on mine).
ReplyDeleteFrom what I hear, the book is fantastic as well...
I think that the book is much better. It has a lot more violence and isn't as confusing as in the movies. However, it's still a great action movie. The fighting was spot on and the actors did a good job. Brad Pitt did an amazing job as Tyler, same goes for Edward Norton. I'm really liking your reviews.
ReplyDeleteFight Club was one of the best movies i have ever seen. Brad Pitt played the role of Tyler Durden perfectly. It had a lot of action and violence, the key to a great movie. At first the film is extremely confusing, but after I watched it for the third time I completely understood it. It is a great movie, two thumbs up.
