Great movie! Excellent special effects, and real life like creatures. This movie was far from any other cartoon you'll watch. Just the animated aliens were spectacular enough. They were so life like you could actually feel how they felt. Their expressions were so human like it was insane.
The special effects were also great! Space ships to machines that let you live a double life. Avatar was a hit. Next time you go to the theater be sure to check it out. But pick a theater you like because Avatar is an almost 2 and a half hour movie, well... what else could you expect from the director of the Titanic!

Avatar was amazing ! I saw it over winter break in 3D.I usually don't like animated movies, but this one was great. The two and a half hours went by so fast because you are so focused on the movie. There wasn't one boring part. I loved the setting, it was beautiful. All the plants and creatures were so unique and everything glowed. I also strongly recommend everyone see this movie !
ReplyDeleteI really want to go watch this movie. I have been trying to convince my parents to go watch it since winter break. This reassures me that it is a great movie. The only downside is that it is too long, but if it is a good movie I dont think anyone minds if the movie is great. I already convinced my parents about going to watch it, I only have to convince my dad, which might be an easy task.
ReplyDeleteI saw that movie in IMAX and I thought it was a great movie. I agree with you 100%. I thought the idea was a great choice for a movie. The special effects were very good and extremely life like but I do have to say it got really dark. The lighting could have been way better but other than that i thought it was a great movie.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to see avatar because I didn't get time every one says it's a big hit and it was really done well but I also heard it plays off of an old movie ferngiuli? Like all they do is try and save the trees. I'm not sure, but I may go see it soon..
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw the trailer for this movie I thought it was just a bunch of blue people fighting against huge machines and didn't really think much of it. However, a lot of my friends have convinced me otherwise. Everyone has told me that the special effects are incredible and even though it is long, it's completely worth seeing. Hopefully this Friday night I'll go and see it with a bunch of my friends and be just as amazed as everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing from this movie everywhere. I heard it was great and the effects to. I really want to go see it but all my friends have seen it so i don't have anybody to go with. Well maybe when it comes out on D.V.D I'll rent it and watch it .
ReplyDeleteThis movie was soo cool! I saw it during winter break and was absolutly amazed! It was definatly one of the best movies I've seen, but I haven seen it in 3D.. Is it good in 3D? I have to say, I wish I could be one of the People.. they're so cool! =D
ReplyDeleteI saw it in 3D. Honestly, there is no real difference between normal and 3D besides the occasional "pop out" moment. Other than that, the movie was pretty good. It's just that it was so long! It was the longest movie i watched since Pirates of The Carribean 3. The visuals were fantastic and I loved the CGI effects on Pandora. The action was all there and the story line was very well developed. There is a sequel in the works. Hopefully that one is just as good as this movie. I'm looking foward to seeing it.
